I was thinking that this may not be the actual ringtone - more like on that closesly resembles it so that people can fear what it sounds like if you get my drift.... i dont think i do

    No I can't hear it.

But the frequency response of my computer's speakers only goes up to 16 kHz and My Hi Fi speakers only 22 kHz...pearls before swine.

As for my ears well who knows?

I tried listening to the sound last night on the laptop I was using with MusicMatch Jukebox which is set as default player. I thought I must of been harder of hearing than I thought but tonight listening to it on my other laptop running Ubunto and the default music player the sound is as clear anything.

    Can U hear this

    G'day Folks.
621/2 yrs totally deaf in R/ear, 60% in Left complete with Tinitus and could hear it clearly,

can't hear low frequency sounds as well as I should. but it was a change from the Cicadas that are resident in my ear, hospital told me the ringing would go in a few days, THAT WAS IN JANUARY 1973 .

I'm starting to get the impression that it depends on your speakers. I'm just using the laptop, and the speakers are only fairly average (they are probably the size of a 50c piece) because my wife could hear it. She can normally hear me f^r7 2 rooms away

Well being old, we brought the dog in. he's only 18 months old, and, zip! I don't think the speakers can reproduce the sound in that range.
