Well I'm blowed, a Bowser? One is honored, I think.

BTW, are you sure you have spelt Donkey Kong correctly?

Yep you could zip past in the background on the new Chariot. Plucking a Mandolin would be an extra attraction for extra points. The Shower chair even more points. Noel Coward did that but that is not to liken you to him of course. Cameos not the zipping.

Well it finally had to happen. I have carers starting next week initially trial them 4 hrs in the morning 7 to 11am.to get me up put of bed, toilet shower , dress and feed me. It's becoming difficult for Heather, i've met 1 and am meeting the other 2 on Tues and Wed. it's been upsetting for me that it has come to this. This disease is a real "insert profound swear words here", 2 more on the MSA support page got their wings. One only in 2 years, knowing what lies a head of me and joining the list is distressing for me as I have no control over it.

Take it one day at a time Mario. Accept every offer of help. Apart from the heartless bureaucracy, every offer and expression of encouragement, is a display of respect for you, the man, the part supplier and member of our community.
You've given so much to so many, it's now time to take a little back.

I'm a little confused here Mario. You sound like you don't want this assistance after all the Taxes you would have paid over the years. It is your right now, so you really should make the most of any assistance you can get.

Maybe it might be the "inconvenience factor?" Is that it? But what is really ****ing you off is that you can't do those things yourself. Right?

Chin up old boy, things could be worse & just be thankful these services are there to help you not take over your life.

Remember the bloke who apparently said..... "I complained because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet."

Also remember what the wise olde Owl up there in Post 136 ^^^^^^^ said.

But you will keep on punching, if only for Heather. Since becoming aware of your disease I have had reason to read up about it. Not a great life at all is it?

If J1 does take you fishing make sure he already hasn't got a couple of Besser Blocks under the thwarts, assuming you are going out by boat.

He probably thinks everybody can swim with or without a decorative Block tied to their ankle just because he can.

    Spirits up Mario.

A carer is a good thing, for both of you will mean more time for you guys to enjoy each other's company and other things you'd like to do. I know how hard it is to accept them though and find good ones!

Haha the horses travelled in the most awesome truck!!! I had the powerchair and my manual wheelchair as well. Crazy!! So much stuff has to come with me!
