    Very true.

I'm certainly grateful for you input. Apart from the complete unsuitability of the hoist provided by Parks, it was the whole slinging arrangement that daunted me. On that topic, Mario, is your carer certified with the sling thing? It would be great if she is.
Hi John, I have a couple of Support workers, the one with me on Monday has worked in age care for a number of years and knows how to use a hoist and sling, she registered for our session to see how that one worked. I found that the way the instructor lady showed us with mine was contrary to what we were trained in on my bedroom ceiling mounted hoist. I didn't want to argue with her as she wanted to run it her way. I think it was a learning for all of them, otherwise they would have known about the lifting height issue
You should have had go John to experience the ball crushing pain l was in, didn't you pick it that my voice pitch increased whilst l was hanging.

I was seriously uncomfortable with the entire session. You were quite stoic. But I don't hear very well.

Just wondering if Epic Dragon rides horses and if so how does she mount a saddle? Horses are as high as a boat gunnel on a trailer.

I have the solution, A large weather balloon, a bottle of helium, my harness, a lanyard and float me aboard. Just don't let go of the lanyard John, I have a fear of heights.

Is the boat you want to use in the water, or on a trailer? If on a trailer at a boat ramp I think that I would be looking at getting Mario into it before it goes in the water. Depending on what his wheelchair is, look at lifting that into the boat with him in it, rather than having the stress of getting him into a sling.
    Thanks for the input.

To get a camel into the curb-sitting position, it must be coerced with a guttural "khhhh" and a firm tap on a front foot with a camel stick. Slowly and ponderously, it will go down.*

    With a horse. . . ?
    Nay!

l haven seen Navy diver's trailer boat, but l don't think " nay'' or "khhhh "will get it to lower, letting the tyres own only will gain about 6 inches. There is nothing thing close to the public ramps to use a block and tackle on.,l have been researching this for over 12 months now
