Hi guys, a huge plug for Series Workshop in Canberra. I am from Sydney, and have never been there before, but was on my way to Thredbo for a holiday when I broke down about 60km North of Canberra. 2011 2.7 D4, had the thermostat housing break and lost my coolant. It was about 12pm on Friday 18 December. I was with LR assist, who said they would provide towing to Canberra, a taxi for the family and accommodation and would tow my trailer. NRMA turned up and started to organise things. The dealer in Canberra didn't have the part and couldn't look at it for a few weeks. I google search and find Series Workshop, speak to them and they said they are closing for Christmas, but if I could get my car there they would fix it that day as they had the part.

Anyway, managed to organise towing, got there and they fixed it and I left there about 530pm and made it to Thredbo. It was great service.

Downside is, LR Assist say they won't pay for towing as I didn't go to a dealer..... under there terms and conditions they only pay to a dealer....
