You are right there. Read a while ago about some DNA testing of people in the British Isles and it seems that the people who live on the islands to the left of France are mostly from the Nordics
Seems there was a popular booze cruise from up that way a few years ago and they left more than memories and a hang over

On the ship that brought out my Dad's family in 1853 70 kids died of Scarlet Fever at sea so the rest were very fortunate to make it. Total ship's complement was 700 PAX.
