I'll play. Bloody SAR. The ones I drove had stupid dustbin filters with Chrome stack extensions with pretty little hats, also chrome, and huge stacks just behind the doors, and poxy little West coast mirrors, all of which mad it so you couldn't see anything that wasn't directly in front of you, and you sure as hell couldn't see to reverse, especially as a Double. Stupid narrow cab with no room to put even a water bottle. Apart from the K 100 series, there isn't a truck I hate more...

What's the background to Burnsons? They've just opened a new store in Bunbury. Are they a new company or an eastern states chain?

I've been using my local Repco a bit lately as they have a new store with good stock range and pricing.

Can't answer with specifics, but they have been around over here for a couple of decades. Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm disappointed to see that they are opening up over there. It means that, yes, they are now going to be yet another chain.

Sigh, getting old sucks. Used to be on first name terms, now I never see the same face twice.

Bugger! I was hoping I'd have a buyer for the new (well, never used) Davies Craig electric fan and controller I have in the garage.

Burson started in Victoria in 1971 and became Bapcor Limited in 2016 and is now a $2.7B company. Bapcor owns Autobarn, Autopro, Burson, Opposite Lock, Midas and many other well known brands. So much for competition

They are a good well run company that made me some nice money. I only sold out because they're growth has slowed since that took such a large share of the market. But I could be wrong and there could be more growth in them.
