OK, I called LG, they have offered me a full replacement no questions asked. The offered a 62sx4r or a 50px5d. I think I might push them for a 71sa1d
Hi Brad, it's a MW-60SZ12. Does that make sense?Originally Posted by Bradtot

RIP Bucko - Riding on Forever
I am not trained in all this tv business but consider myself pretty competent with it all given i was dragged out of class on a regular basis when at school to fix tellies etc and i get regular calls from grandma and grandad to come over and clean up their wiring whenever they buy a new dvd player (and this is more often than humanly required). So i had a brain wave when at uni and decided that moving the tv aerial on the carport roof to the mount on the very top of the house roof which held a redundant pay tv old dish, in doing this i decided this would be a good time to chuck a splitter in and run a cable to the bedroom. I went out bought the coax and bits and pieces and set to it. I got up on the roof, cut the old dish off and fitted the new aerial then fitted the splitter and ran a new line to the bed room. I then had to go to the local tv place and get an adaptor to screw into the old pay tv outlet in the bedroom so i could plug a normal coax plug into it. I then rigged everything up and got nothing. I buggered around for ages and nothing. I decided to go and buy some more coax and refit the cabling. Low and behold and instant crystal clear picture. Turns out the cable had been kinked at the store and had damaged the inner core or something. Matt
