We don't have a "Spring".
It goes from fairly hot to OMFG! pretty much in a couple of days, then back to "Jezze the A/c is cold" again.
I am amused by the tourist this time of year who complain about the heat, flies & the fact I only have 3 of the 11 A/C's in the place going.
The staff just look at them strangely & pull there cardigans a bit tighter.

My friends in Brisbane used to light the open fire when the temperatures dropped to 20C.

Yep, mate, 19.9° is our fireplace kick off temp.

I set my alarm for 20⁰, below that is doona time.

a lot of people reckon its a cold winter but average temps Australia wide point to the opposite'

most areas of Australia are experiencing slightly higher temperatures day and night.

it has been a little windier though and in many cases a bloody lot windier.

adiabatic and katabatic winds do change localised temperatures while just up or down the road it can be significantly different.

global warming and ocean level rising are definitely having an effect .

ask a fridgie.....if you have a cold zone , there has to be a hot one and vice versa

Hasn't been as cold here as I remember. The firewood stack is still well-stocked.
The climate change experts say average temps have already risen about 1.3 degrees, which is a lot.
