We were in Sydney on the weekend:
Thursday 9th - Service NSW - monitor for symptoms (#1 - bookshop)
Thursday 9th - Service NSW - monitor for symptoms (#2 - theatre)
Thursday 9th - daughter's classmate has Covid, she has to get tested and isolate
And people are asking me why I'm still working from home - I saw my first client in months the other day and then went into the office to meet my new colleagues - that evening the DoH texted to say that I had to get tested and isolate: if I'd been positive it's not a call I'd've enjoyed making to my clients or to my new colleagues.
Its covid normal now. School cases going off here. My niece is under 12 so not yet vaxxed. Home again after a teacher positive. About to go back and a dozen more positive students and teachers at that school.
MY Mia Culpa. We started booking 5 to 12 in the week 10 Jan 2021 and a 2nd booking 6 weeks later. My stuff up being a smarty pants and trying the help with the fast movers and very anxious types who want to get this over quickly.
The 2nd dose for the kids is 8 weeks. Off to work to change all the bookings before my staff lynch me[biggrin]
Happy and still a little ruffled as orders for supplies and required training models do not exist yet!
The government/Health bureaucracy types planning is poor plus. We knew about this for several months. They failed to prepare over the last several months. All of the Front line must now rush about trying to find information which could and should have been ready months ago!
