Is suppose you get your numbers from the WA propaganda ministry.

    From the actual stats https://www.health.gov.au/sites/defa...nuary-2022.pdf

    Dated 19 Jan 2021

    WA 1 dose = 94.7% Double dose = 88.4%

    NSW 1 dose = exceeds 95% Double dose = 93.9%

ACT - exceed 95% on both

    Qld 1 dose 91.8% Double dose = 89%

    NT 1 dose 90.2% Double dose = 86.4%

    Vic 1 dose 94.1% Double dose 92.7%

    SA 1dose 93.3% Double dose 90%

    Tas exceed 95% on both

So while there has been an impovement in WA figures they are not what you have been told - good first dose but still second last on double dose.

If in your opinion you are saying that 94.7% and 88.4% vaccination rates are Low then why on earth did the other States open up the borders at only 80% double dose rates and that was only 16 year olds and over.

Your propaganda ministries fooled you into a false sense of security at 80% and now hundreds of Australians are dead because of this, the eastern seabord economy is failing and supply lines are drying up.

I have no idea why you are bagging WA's stance at keeping people safe and waiting until the vaccination rates are actually high enough to give us the BEST chance of pulling through this pandemic WITHOUT sacrificing peoples lives and livleyhoods in the process.

YES the virus Will get into WA eventually But what is so wrong with Ensuring that it is as safe as possible Before opening up the flood gates and letting it rip.

Irrelevant. The fact there is community transmission defines the fact it is "out of control". Though the case numbers may be low, it's progressing in a manner the contact tracers can't get a handle on and therefore by definition it's "out of control". The fact one of yesterdays cases is a complete unknown source completely reinforces that.

They might get it back under control, but as current control measures are proving to be ineffective it's going to require something more restrictive. Let's see what happens after the Wednesday superspreader event.

    Covid Mk ll

Be that as it may, simply it was / is never going away.

There’s about as much protection out there now as there can be. Beyond this nothing else.

If someone died from complications of the Flu like pneumonia etc it doesn’t even rate the news. This will become the same. It’s just the latest hot topic.

Keep yourselves as healthy as possible, be hygienic and don’t be foolish. Same advice given to those vulnerable to influenza and other endemic viruses.

Now go to by ratio infected….

Ratios still pretty darn low compared to Flu.

    Hardly.

Considering vaccines efficacy degrades over time, by the time you open up the people will have reduced protection.

Which is sicker? Manipulating people and imprisoning them (metaphorical) or being prepared health system wise and controlling the inflow on a well protected (immunised) population.

Or manipulating laws during these times outside of the scope of Covid? That’s pretty messed up.
How about if your freedoms were removed and they close the ends of the state you like to go to?
Next could be permanently limited to your local council area. It isn’t that much of a stretch to lose your freedoms.
