Well, a Huey it ain't, nor a Mirage or Pig.... not even a C-130 ... but it took over 50 years to get the piece of paper / plastic card, .. for 2.2 litres/4-pot.

OK, back on topic (sort of) as we go to a different 'reality' in Wellington...

I read an article where protesters around NZ Parliament are concerned Police are planting EMF generating devices. The are now making tin foil hats to wear to ward off headaches. Some have claimed that the large concrete blocks police are using to control traffic around the police site have EMF transmitters or EMR inside them and they walk along with a "calibrated scientific device" measuring the EMF from them. As they walk down the street measuring each block, the reading on the "calibrated scientific device" increases. They are of course walking down a city street with a mass of buried underground power cables underneath them and the device would likely be showing this as they walk across the buried cables...

I guess the 'science' journey has to start somewhere. [bighmmm]

The tenacious irony of it is admirable. I followed a link to a twitter feed and one of the comments there was a good summary of it,

"They'll object to wearing a mask but they'll happily wear tinfoil hats."

Further to the tinfoil hat news story... A protest leader has had an expert ("who is not a nutter") come in and test the site and his solution, walking in bare feet and drinking water will ward off the effects of EMF by creating a faraday cage and grounding you. If it wasn't the NZ Herald I would begin to wonder if it was a parody site.
