The cytokine storm combined with (or caused by, or exacerbated by) inflammation of the endothelial cells results in shredding blood cells leading to multiple organ failure. Interesting that Qld has paused its hotel quarantine program because they have over 5000 people in 22 hotels, including about 3000 who are southerners moving to Qld to escape the situation down south.
In NSW and Vic you can't leave your cave. In Qld, I went whale-watching yesterday. The cave is looking good.
