Will the lock downs appear again?

No one can give any advice as to how long the shots we are having now are going to last.
    No, you’ll just potentially die….

And yes they are already showing efficacy data.

To set the scene for your very relevant comments in the future, can you tell us what you do and how you are involved in the vaccination program - from your posts I took it that you were a local GP then at other times I think otherwise.

    Much appreciated - thanks

A GP Practice Manager I'd think. An expert at herding GPs, which would be like herding cats most of the time.... Covid Mk ll

Sorry Garry. I manage a Medical Centre. If I approach with needle RUN I order, receive and store the vaccines, book vaccine appointments, report usage, upload vaccinations given to Australian Immunization Registry , manage the Software, networking and all hardware and little things like pay every one for everything. Not a Doctor promise and excuse me if any of my post suggested that. Admin/ management and complaints departments for patients, several Doctors and my staff

    Also love running a lot

He tested positive when back in sydney, the connection to Lismore is from a lismore based company that also works on that site, I also work on that site.

Very much appreciated for that explanation - puts your many informative posts on the topic into context.

    Thanks

I've had the "papers please" routine twice this week on the Barton highway coming in to work. Seems the ACT might be getting a bit sick of Covid being introduced from Sydney and Melbourne. On September 14 there were 8 seperate introductions of covid into the ACT, two in the last 48 hours.

Yes unfortunately doing random road blocks do not work. For some reason permanent checkpoints are not being used and constant bleed into the ACT is what is causing ACT infection rates to remain high as new infections are being brought in. Even with random check points up to 80 illegals are being turned around each day.

Anyway - why are you coming into work? You should be working from home it is a good life.

My ex housemate works for Home Affairs and wakes up at 08.30 and turns on his work laptop that lives under a pillow and goes back to sleep - if anyone wants him the alarm on the laptop wakes him up and he responds - one of his co-workers did get caught out the other week when they had a section meeting. These are normally done with audio only and no video but this person switched on the cam and here he was sitting up in bed bare chested with what looked like a bare chested damsel in bed with him - after a little trouble the video got cut.
