I'm starting to wonder about you J1. [bighmmm] Are you one of those types that gets sexual gratification out of dressing up as a non- identifiable M or FM Nurse?:Rolling::rulez::rolleyes:

On the other hand, I regularly talk to a cousin of mine, who does not call himself a doctor - but his last job before retirement was Chief Veterinary Officer for the state, and in this role his major concern was contagious diseases and their control. While not particularly expert on diseases of the homo sapiens mammal, he has a very good knowledge of infection control for mammals in general - and currently is advising the local health district on control of the pandemic. He is not a doctor, but thoroughly understands the science and also the practice of infection control.
So, a couple of the A.V's at work now have a copy of their covid certificate on their phones, hopefully they get busted or have to scan in to get into places. They'll do anything to get out of it
The ultimate payback will be when they sign in to somewhere with their dodgy certificate, catch covid and end up on a ventilator. Its not like they are a hazard to vaccinated people.....Having said that the govt has said that the NSW app won't be the only way to prove your vaccinated status. By December it will all be over anyway and then they can go where they please unvaccinated and take their chances. I can't see them getting caught with a dodgy certificate going to a pub but that trip to Bali might be off the agenda.

I'm not sure that the anti-vaxxers have worked this out yet, but in the past, with diseases like measles, they've been protected by the vaccinated majority and because outbreaks of the relevant disease have been contained and therefore aren't widespread, so their chances of getting infected were pretty low. That's not the case this time: Covid is everywhere, almost endemic, and they stand a very good chance of being infected - with potentially serious consequences for their health.
We're still trying to clarify if we're essential workers for the purposes of vaccination - at present, we're only essential workers in certain rare circumstances, so the implication is that as soon as one of those circumstances arise we'd have to be compulsorily vaccinated! And then when it's fixed, it'd no longer be required.
