When I did my Covid test last year after I was able to get further than the dunny and get myself to the hospital the results that came back also included flu results, both negative, yet I had the no temperature but headache, muscle pains and severe weakness symptoms associated with covid (flu included having a temperature) from thursday evening thru to sunday night. Doctor would not see me and emailed referral thru to hospital for fast processing.
Tested on a tuesday results back wednesday evening.
So I have always assumed every covid test included normal flu test too ?
What has been in others test notifications? Same or was it just my doc requesting it as extra?
seem to be lax over there, rules are not obeyed. hesitant. In one class of kids and one a kid ended up with covid, they only tested the 2kids either side of him, the rest of the class no no test even though they all shared the same environment. They are reluctant to test until you have been unwell for a number of days. Not like here where we have lots of free testing.
Then you get ***** like David Reynolds who think they qualify for a Vaccine exemption "because something mutter mumble something".
At least Supercars have the balls to stand their ground : David Reynolds to miss next three Supercars races, hopes to compete at Bathurst 1000 - ABC News

doesn't sound like they stood their ground at all , Reynolds raced last weekend. I do not concur. Rules are rules. For a reason.
What to do about vaccine refuseniks? Singapore has legislated non payment of Covid medical fees if you are not Vaccinated. However , in Australia a scheme based on our Medicare levy surcharge could help recoup costs while gently incentivising vaccination. From CRIKEY;
"There exist a small number of democratic obligations that , if adhered to by everyone, generate the many freedoms we enjoy. Vaccination is a modern embodiment of these "
Vaccine refusers need to pay for the pressure they put on hospitals (crikey.com.au)
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
