    And along the same lines - this one's also a cracker. If Land Rover actually inject a bit of humour into its advertising campaigns, they'd probably sell a few more.

    It's funny, that 20 years ago when I worked for IBM as an engineer, their mainframe computers were known as the best built in the world - and they still are. If you wanted quality, you bought American. I don't think that's changed much - except for maybe within the auto industry where they are seen to be slipping over the past few years. Pity - but don't write them off - they'll return some day.

    I'm dissapointed that the younger generation is instantly associating the Americans with "garbage" - and maybe because of their parent's innate dislike of the Americans' current politics.... or whatever else they have a problem with. It's easy to feign dislike for those that are bigger than you...
