The jury is still out on off-road performance. The articulation pix posted seem close to the static limit. Pushing on the body on the corner of the third pic, I could get the rear wheel off the ground.
Will it be any better off road in "dynamic" situations?
I guess only time will tell!! - I'll make sure to post an update once I've taken it off-road.

In fact you get a bit more.
The reason for the Defender being up on the ramps was so that I could trim a bit off the ribs under the tray.
It used to touch occasionally with the old tyres. With the new ones (same size 235/85/16) it used to touch too easily.
So I now have about 20 -30mm more than that on the back.
Why would anyone want more?:p
