The front has a 3 link plus panhard and the coil springs are allowed to drop out. What is so striking, is how balanced the front and rear articulation is (notice how level the body stays?)

Bill is a legend. Few other people put as much thought and work into 4wd vehicles. The portal axles are home made, as is the crawler box. He also built Nigel's hybrid landy with forced articulation, which featured in an edition of Australian 4WD Monthly a couple of years ago.

    Wombat run at City View.
There's probably a tad more droop available at the rear but the front is maxed out.

You want to know the best part?

    Nothing outrageous really.

Arnott Gen III Airsprings, 50mm spacers, custom bumps, custom sensor extensions and dodgey shocks with exacting travel specs.
I've been trying to complete the production version - over halfway there but just can't get around to finalising it.

The front swaybar is disconnected (manually) but currently the Tough Dog Adjustables (front) eliminate it's need on road anyway. Setting 7 or 8 - handles like a slot car. For offroad I use setting 3 or 4 which is plenty floppy. Rears are old fronts which are a little bit floppy too - but overall do not affect the on road handling.
I have custom Bilstein shocks all ready specified, haven't tried them out though.
They should give another 1" or so at the rear, on top of the 1" that's not shown in the pictures.

I used to have Airbag Man rears on the front - gave another 1" droop but they would 'flab' out too much under compression, risk being damaged.

And there's plenty of room for 33"s
