He's up in Doomadgee with me, what Mum doesn't know wont stress her.
I asked him to get something out of the Boot, he came back & said he couldn't open the Trunk.
This is an aboriginal kid, must get to much screen time!
Didn't really hit him, thought about it though.
Also, Oh My God! Overused & inane.
Just ****ing swear, far more expressive.

I do 'sometimes' swear as an emphasis when trying to get a point across to people who want to learn from me................. native grassland restoration for example.
The swearing generally denotes something I've struggled with and overcome and want to share the remedy.
The swearing can also be my name for a weed like 'the fluffy ****' coz I'd rather deal with it than find out what it's really called.
I do sometimes use 'language' at meetings I chair or attend on another committee and I really don't care what anyone thinks. I can't stand bull....

[QUOTE]And lately ventilate instead of vent, most recently during the Lehrmann trial when Higgins said she called her boyfriend to "ventilate"
That would depend if she came up for air I suspect.

Aaaargh! Heard a young, local girl use "Gotten" in a sentence.
Also, having never taken much notice, I realised yesterday that the TV show 'Australia's Got Talent' is sooo grammatically incorrect.![]()
'sit bonum tempora volvunt'
gotten is a word....past participle of get![]()
