That's just about tight enough.
The rule of thumb is to tighten it up until it strips and then back it off half a turn......

I was taught to tighten until it snaps. Backing off 1/2 turn doesn't help. Seriously though, before loosening a bolt or screw, give it a slight turn tighter then back off. Works for me every time.
