    Queensland.

Why would you want to be anywhere else? Sydney's getting blown off the map, the continent is trying to shake Melbourne off, meanwhile Brisbane is enjoying mid to high 20s, in the depth of winter.

Where were you this morning Ian...? It did feel like minus 3 at my place too. I would go and join you tomorrow but have a cold and don't want to pass on the joy. Have fun low ranging. Screenshot_20230630_072740_BOM Weather.jpgCheers

A few months from now it’ll be 40°+

    Good times!

Just spent 2 weeks on Fraser island.
Took a heap of winter gear, didn't put on a coat, the Qld weather was fantastic.

We were going to go down to Montague Island, but couldn't get in,glad we didnt go,to bloody cold for me.And it is now a bit to expensive, but a great place.

No Low Range either as the sand is quite hard....

Not far fron Jon3950 and enjoying 22 deg C (inside) ATM with the wood heater running 24/7.
And BTW, there's hardly a breath of wind outside.

Probably before I arose ozscott. I'm at Bridgeman Downs critter sitting, by the time they'd all been tended, it was 8.30 and 10⁰C.
Appreciate the good wishes for tomorrow.

There was, apparently, chaos at Mascot, with only one runway operating, due to high winds.

Well there you go. It only takes a 20 knot westerly to shift operations from the main north-south runways to the east-west runway. If they do that they only have one runway instead of two, so flights get cancelled. Bit of a beat-up really.

We live about 20km north of the airport and there was barely a breeze. Just a nice, sunny winters day.

I thought trolling was illegal on AULRO, particularly from mods - but then most banana benders are not real bright.
