I used to work in the Pilbara where temperatures regularly ranged between 40⁰ and 50⁰C. I found it quite comfortable away from the coast and humidity.
I like it hot honestly. How hot is too hot is interesting.
"The human body is built to operate at a core temperature of about 37C degrees. We become more light-headed and prone to fainting as the core rises closer to 40C.High core temperatures damage our body's tissues, such as heart muscle and the brain. Eventually this becomes deadly.
"Once the core temperature rises to around about 41-42 degrees centigrade we start to see really, really significant problems and if not treated the individual will actually die as a result, succumbing to hyperthermia," says Prof Bailey."

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Global warming will **** (even further) the building industry as they won’t go out and do anything once it’s over 36 these days and 1 drop of rain and they go running like they’re drowning rats.

That was one of those interesting differences I noticed here in the UK. There was not a surge of tradies in looking for a new vehicle when it rained. Even snow does not stop a building site
The same ones who go home & complain loudly to the AC bloke why their AC install is not yet complete.
Some of us had deadlines & promises to meet to sustain our livelihood.
****ing nancy boys!
BTW, why should running be banned from the General Board? The answer is in it's name.

Super ModeratorIn Dubai it never officially hit 50C until it was about 55. Most max temp weather reports stopped at 49.5C as the workers were allowed to go home when it hit 50.
50C in Ramadan was always interesting because the Muslim workers wouldn't drink during the day, so they'd die of dehydration on the building sites.

Thats is sad Brad.
Records being broken again while I am freezing!
"Phoenix, Arizona is about to enter its 31st straight day of temperatures above 110 degrees"
In Jan 2023 "Marble Bar had 16 days above 45C — the most on record."
Popular Scince states "July 2023 was likely the hottest month in 120,000 years"
"Just chuckled at your post when I looked for 'dubai hottest days on record' Nothing ZIP foundNot about the deaths!
