Rover V8's have hardened valve seat inserts so valve recession is rarely an issue plus heads are cheap if you need to replace them.

    Hi Guys
Us WA residents get a bonus, the WA gov upped their subsidy to $1000 recently, meaning we should be up to $3000
I got onto my bro today, getting his mate to price a LPG fumogation system for BlackBetty. The WA $1000 covers diesel motors hopefully the Fed $2000 does.

I have been planning on getting gas on the Disco sisnce I got it I was erring on the side of not doing it lately. This is due to how much space it will take up in the back - even with scuba tanks.
Has anybody got a Discovery or seen one that has 1 or 2 tanks underneath, but with a full size petrol tank?
I know you can get the tank underneath if you only want an aux petrol tank, but I would like to keep the full size tank for added distance.

    Thanks
    Andrew

Can't have it both ways mate. I've gone the scuba tanks in the back as I wanted to retain my fuel tank too. It's not too bad but fitting a cargo barrier is recommended so you can still load a bit of gear back there.

How about getting sill tanks as well? It would be costly to get the underfloor system plus the sill tanks and the quarter panel tank but you would be able to carry a lot of fuel. I think sill tanks are 40L each?

This is great to hear. I wonder how long the LPG fitting queues will be now?

That is what I was thinking today as well. The other idea is the car I am currently driving
    Cost $1
Add LPG and make some $$$ once the Fender is fixed
