I know that it includes stage ones, but I can't obviously see any wagons on it at all. It's pretty much a listing of what the factory here built.

Throw a number my way and i'll see what it says.

No, sorry, none of those. However some are blank, and others are marked as unknown. The only data which is complete is the body numbers.

I will admit to owning series III 109 + series III 88 + IIA 109 wagon + Rangie 2DR, and yes I know I have a problem, but I find them hard to part with!
This is the smallest one, 173 holden and fairy OD otherwise standard(ish)

1981 Stage 1 V8. Don't know if it helps the discussion on Phoenix's numbers but the VIN indicates it's a CKD and I presume all the Stage 1s in Oz must have been.

My old girl has fairly superficial modifications and I can't lay claim to any of them. She came to me with 31/10.5R15 sand tires and fibreglass wheel arch eyebrows to cover, a steel bar mounted over the original bumper and extending down to side steps. There had been an additional instrument cluster added in the centre with tacho, temp, volts, amps, clock, oil pressure (of which perhaps 1/2 work) and a timber enclosed shelf for radio, with speakers mounted in it and some for the passengers.

I bought her to be ABLE to get off the beaten track but she's done a lot more daily driving, including a fair bit of highway work. As load carrier she's fantastic and the ability to tip the rear seats forward and sleep in the rear is a bonus. The cost of ownership has been pretty high with repairs but I guess that's the price of fashion.

Want to see what your list says about 506083?

This was bought by me for parts (cab, doors bonnet seat cushions (& high backs) instruments and a few other bits now grace my S2a) in 1997.
It was interesting as it had never been registered - used only on the farm I bought it from, who bought it new in 1981. I don't think it had ever been serviced either. Although only about 40k on the clock the engine will only start with ezistart - very low on compression, and the chassis has a badly damaged front with an amateurish repair where he drove into a bore drain, the brakes hardly work, and the clutch slips, despite the low power, and the gearbox jumps out of third.

I can't find any chassis numbers with 5060 anything

    5065
    5066
    5067

yes, but before the 5065 is a gap of 746 vehicles with no details noted from 18/4/1980 to 14/10/1980. Rather frustrating to have these gaps in the information that I have

Best I can do is if you still have the body number I can tell you it's sequence number off the assembly line if that is indeed it's chassis number.

I'll have a look tomorrow - I got the chassis number off the sales information when it was delivered originally. I still have all this sort of thing - owner's handbook, warranty book (no stamps in it) - even the plastic wallet it all came in.
The vehicle is in a shed a bit too far to walk at this hour.
