I have just read this entire thread. I was going to keep up with it after it started, but I was about to head off overseas and had a lot of other things to think about, but it has been on my to do list.

Thank you for keeping up with it - so far I have only had melanoma to deal with, and seem to have overcome that, at least for the moment. I have long been aware that men can get breast cancer, but I think this is the first case I have seen with a real life description of what it means for men. (My wife's younger sister died from it in 1990, and it was not pretty.)

All the best for the future.

It will be managed and observed. The monthly Zoladex implant stays. They will look at what other medications to try. I don't particularly like being a science experiment but I have to be mindful of why I entered into this trial in the first place. I guess they will gain knowledge for others. But boy do I feel sick. And I can hardly walk. Going to apply for a permit if they promise not to take away my MC Licence.
Keep as much of the treatment going as you feel helps you without knocking you to the ground, it's a balancing act but that saying 'while there is life there is hope' has a lot of meaning when things are down.

And where the hell do they even have Disabled parking bays for Semis ??!!

Or should I be asking why they don't yet in this woke world ??!!

There ya go, ponder that to take your mind away from things for a while.

I wish there was more I could do than make smart Alec comments, but hopefully it'll give you wry smile.

No doubt there's a committee somewhere pondering that. As Ian would tell you, some of them need them.

I don't want to lose the licence. Before all this happened the kinda plan was to move to Queensland that's out, travel in the OKA ( needs LR ), and maybe do a trip or two for a local truck mob or farm without telling centre link ( shh ). MC licence would be handy.

Had a bit of a look and it seems on face value that there are no conditions imposed on, or removed from, a DL, at least in Vic.

    Cheers
Because of this muck they want to infuse me with to "improve" my bone density ( Hormone blockers **** it up ) I have to get all my ducks in a row re dentistry. So I just had two old wisdom teeth removed ( I guess I wan't using them... ), and I didn't feel a thing. Sadly, in this case because the dentist was cute. She was also tiny, but she got 'em out no probs. Reckon I'll call her next time I need to change my ball joints.

Said this back at post #142, but I'll say it again. AULRO is amazing. This is the second time I have chosen to share what is an unpleasant journey. It could be seen as self indulgent to do so on what is, after all, a car forum. But once again the level of support shown by people I have never met is extraordinary.

I detest FaceBook, There are a few groups that cater to my interests, but they are so impersonal and soon become dominated by self interest, or bloody ads. There is, of course, a group dedicated to men's breast cancer. About 160 members. But nobody remembers you from one day to the next, and in true facebook fashion the posts are lost forever after a day or so.

AULRO needs to be immortal, even if it's members are not. Thank you, everyone. Especially you, Inc., for making it possible.

You're being far more erudite and pragmatic (and philosophical) about the situation than most. Hope things improve and start looking up for a change.

Hard to believe, eh? Not the first adjective I'd have chosen for you.
