Thank god for RACV for me today (Total Care)

Well I was going home only about 10ks before I got home and this was 2.30pm. I stopped at the lights on Burwood Hwy, and my information light came on and then the engine light came up. I went to take off and the car wouldn't move it seem to have lost all power. So I put my hazard light on. I am now stuck in the middle lane and can not move, call RACV and spoke to the girl and she got a tow truck for me and was put on top of the list as I was sitting in danger. This time of day is every heavy with traffic. People where trying to get into other lanes. And all the cars just looked at me, I did have a guy that was in the right lane came across in front of me and asked if I need help I said I had call RACV and they where sending a tow. The tow truck took only 6 to 8 mins to get to me, as I was in danger sitting there. And I couldn't get out of the car as people where trying to get in to other lanes which was jam pack and I didnt want to get hit by some one see me as they are trying to get around my car. So I have rang Uptech when I got home and spoke to Tim up there and he said to get it towed to them and they will have a look at it.
I said I will do that tomorrow as I am just over everything this was after 3pm. You seem to be getting a head and your mind, after losing Mario and then the flood and dealing with insurance and now this. I have been with RACV for all my driving years and is a gold member total care. I know it seems to go up each year but you just don't know what is around the corner, and especially now I don't have Mario

Total Care is great insurance. For that's what it is, and it's worth every cent. So glad you're safe, Heather. As for the car, Tim will fix it. Or Tony.

Hi John how are you, it will be going tomorrow just hope its not the engine. It only got serviced by Tim about 9 months ago. And I told him to go over everything, had to have new front bake pads as they where about a ml left on the pads. Tim said if I left it any longer I would needed new rotors.

I was impressed to, glad that they got there so quickly. I felt like I was a sitting duck waiting for someone to run it the back of me not watching the road or on there phone

I’m ok Heather, all things considered. I trust Tim, and I reckon you’d be a VIP at Uptech with your history. They are always good to me at Uptech.

Well I rang RACV to get it towed to UpTech which is about 12ks from me and RACV said with in the hour, which was fine, then got a text from the towing company saying they where on there way.
It was only took 1/2 hour and they where in my drive way. I really couldn't fault RACV and National towing, they where there when I need help. So now I wait to find out what is wrong with the car just hope and hope it is not bad news. Heather

I've got everything crossed for you, Heather.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Hi Ian I have not heard anything from mechanic, they got the car Thursday morning. I am thinking if it was really bad like the engine stuff or transmission stuffed I would have heard from them by now. Thing again that they are waiting for parts to repair for what went wrong with the car. I don't think they would have got any parts the next day. I still have Brendon's car here so I can get around if I need any thing. I have not called them as I know they are always flat out with work and I didn't want to take up there time. They will let me know in due course.

They will. They are always busy there. A car getting towed in is unexpected, well, not in the diary. I know they will look after you Heather.
