Just mention consumer affairs and "I'll see you in court" then see how their attitude changes!

I'm sorry to hear. Doesn't matter who makes the car, if the dealer manages to stuff it up you aren't going to buy another
This may not matter now.. but the correct way of getting overspray off the exterior is to use a clay bar, not to buff the car.
To cover the interior is unforgiveable.Just keep documenting all this.
Be aware that landrover may offer to help you into a new car to get rid of the problem... but the disposal of the old one will probably be your problemAnd the dealers won't want your car (they know what is wrong with it) so will offer you no money for it

Yep take it to consumer affairs....tell LR customer service and the dealer you plan to that and allow them to respond in a reasonable time (for you).
Cheers,
Having been down this track with a New Mits Pajero how I find people will "start" working with you is this.
1) Go back and see them and ask to see the Company Rep in regards to the problem or atleast his name, inform them you need to atleast have a name/POC for your Lawyer to contact, even if you don't have one they don't need to know.
2) Ask who they use for there sign writing, when they ask why, say that your car will be sign writen all over about how much you been st@ffed around, give them a draft copy, saying the words to the effect.
I drive a lemon.
This car was taken to Dealership__________ and painted by __________ I have nothing but problems since.
If you have you have any questions please ring on _________ and I'll tell you what is going on.
I never even got in the car and I had a phone call from the State Manager, anyway they re-traded the car I lost on sale ($20,000) but gained more on the new car I brought (dropped the $20,000 and fitted heaps of extra's at no cost)
I was nice the whole time, yes sir/no sir, now here's where I go from here, even received e-mails from Mr Mits him self I had one more problem with the new car e-mailed him direct next day it was freighted form Japan.
So, after all that don't get sh!tty but get forcefull and draw the attension that you will "tell the world" ie free speach.
Word of mouth is the strogest sword.![]()

Weiry, isn't that the point of this thread though?
Mitsubishi = desperate for market share = good response to customer complaints.
LRA = couldn't give a rats 'cause they've already made the sale.
(I hope I'm wrong)![]()
Sorry forgot,
3) Tell them once sign written you'll park the car across the road, on the public road, had to remind them that they don't own the "public road".
Not good and I hope you get some action but......................
I hope this is not a sign of things to come.
I took this a few months ago near home.
