yep i know of 2 that look like that

one thing you will want to do is strengthen the chassis mounts for the bar! they ARE NOT strong enough! they will bend, even with a hi lift!

    Hi Pedro
    ALMOST,Harvey
    Hi Discowite
I sused that out already,I have a heavy duty bit of 8mm angle in the centre that bolts to the top of the tow hitch with 2 BIG bolts, should strengthen it enough.
I got a bit slack,I havent "bent" the corners in on mine.Thought I could build a ladder to the roof on one side and fit the high lift on the other, unless I can get some real cheap lights Im going to convert the originals to fit.

that was one big headache i didnt want to go through
you'll see what im talking about

ladder to the bar is a good idea! better than relying on the gutter and body for all the weight! not sayin your fat or anything

    cheers phil

    Hi Edd
Get a mig,if you can use a sillycum gun you can glue steel together .Beauty is,thanks to the Chinese the price is getting better all the time for a decent machine.
You will wish you got one years ago.

I'm also in the market for a decent MIG welder. I have a stick welder but would like something that doesn't leave slag all over the shop and burns holes though lighter guages of steel. On the contrary, I'm getting good at stick welding, had plenty of practice when I bult my rear bar

E-bay sometimes get you a decent second-hand one and plenty of the cheap Chinese made jobs as well.

Lucky bugger Andy wish I could afford to get a gas bottle for my mig and start a rear bar. If I had the pics and measurements to follow I could do it but not from scratch like you have done. Nice job.
