This trip will be for serious off road vehicles not softroaders and will require recovery hooks front and rear just in case.................

Andrew, if you can get there you can ride with me if money is a little on the tight side.

If the trip is a goer we will need a chainsaw.
Sounds good, so count me in!
emmm I might be a little light on the chainsaw front though.

I just bought some diff sliders/protectors too so I'll have to get myself into gear and get them fitted.

if landyandy can't make it & bring the chainsaw, just call by my place & grab one of mine, prob'ly the smaller one as it comes with protective cover/casing, i wont be able to make it but don't mind lending the chinsaw to responsible landy owners, i'll even supply fuel & bar oil, i'm in bassendean (at the moment, just put an offer in on a house in secret harbour)

    Richard,

Just saw this - I'll try and come along if there's still room. Are you thinking of the tracks we did a couple of years ago (the ones we scraped the paint off a few vehicles on)? Would they be wide enough for the D3?

    Cheers,

    Gordon

    Hi Guys
Ive given the trip DEEP THOUGHT.
Really have to give it a miss, the fuel is no problems but if I end up busting something Im in the poo,too close to Xmas etc and just shelled out for BlackBetty and a new hotwater system, never mind all the other bills that put their hands up .The overtime has only JUST started to TRICKLE in,scandalous,we are really peed off at the moment,we reckon we are down 5G for the financial year all ready.NOT A HAPPY BUNCH OF CAMPERS
