NSW Christmas BBQ at Mullion Creek (Orange)

Guys be prepared for a COLD CAMP.

FIRE BAN in our area...this is TOTAL ban no fires in the open.

    Gas stoves will be OK.

Property as I type covered in smoke from fires near Burrendong Dam & Molong area.

Look forward to meeting those coming up tomorrow for the weekend & some good four wheel driving.

Nights have been warm to mild so no fire will not be large drama.

Ring if any concerns 6364 1184.

It's raining at the moment, hopefully the grassed area will be sufficiently dampened down so I can sleep at night with cooking fires.

Will check with local brigade for update on status tomorrow.

We can always come inside & watch Camel Trophy movies if the campfire stuation not favourable.

Thanks Martyn for that information BTW

With a bit of luck there won't be a total fire ban tomorrow, would still be a bit cautious about open fires though.

A weak change is due through the coastal areas tonight with a stronger one tomorrow that may reach inland a bit.

Hope you have a good weekend and sorry I'm going to miss it.

I like slippery, makes me feel better about spending all that time in the heat putting the muddies on.
