I never go that way, but think Mt Sugarloaf, with TV transmission towers, should be obvious on the left as you approach the exit (unless hidden by low cloud). BTW James Cook named Mt Sugarloaf because it was a prominent landmark as the Endevour sailed up the coast.

The small village of Seahampton is right there and the turn-off to Sugarloaf is about 2 km further (1st turn on left, after Seahampton) near the bottom of a hill.

so i should be able to find it then..

plans have changed... due to the requirement to now head to charleville, things have been stepped forwards..

we shouldnt be too much past 10:00 hrs on arrival time...

G'day All, Well Matt who turned up after I went home??, had a bit of a run uphill with a ****** in Pootrol going up the other side of Sugarloaf, I think I gave him a surprise as his vehicle was chucking out some s**t from the exhaust, I eventually let him go they dont go around corners like 110's anyway the Missus was giving me some stick about driving too fast anyway cheers Dennis

Well good day was had, I remembered to grab Beer, wine and snags, salads bread but no drinks for the kids. Quick stop off at Coles on the way up fixed that. It was great to see Dinty and his better (non Pootrol stalking) half. Good to put a face to Numpty and Numpty's missus.
Bush65 arrived literally twenty minutes after the Numpty's departure followed ten minutes later by Blknightaus and family. More snag sambo's, salad and beers before a 5 minute walk to the lookout. We then said goodbye to Bush65 and Blknight aus and family followed us back to Dobbonia for a quick baby bath before hitting the road to QLD.

Blknight sends his apologies for missing Dinty and the Numpty's (I'm sure you'll all catch up eventually)

Note to all you QLDers look after Blknight and co make sure he gets offroad as regularly as possible and greet him with a few beers. Top bloke and a very nice family.

It was good to meet Dobbo and Blknight.aus.

I was dissapointed to miss Numpty, Numpty's Missus and Dinty. My meeting was a bit longer than I expected.
