A Northern Rivers local or a Qld local? The bit of Qld that's 1 hour away has a different dress code, GQ - bare flesh or Italian suits, take your pick.

Flares are still in in Rocky, I think.

    Yeah yeah yeah,

I'd never cut it up there on the GC - I dont have a black hummer with 30 inch wheels bling bling

    or a 75 Fairlane V8.

but those "bare flesh or Italian suits" are infiltrating our mud hut hippie feral space - I keep seeing Audi Q7s and BMW X things - with those QLD plates saying something like "QLD the clever state" - generally going the wrong way up one way streets......

Smart State, GQ, Smart State. I got one of those for my Stage 1 - I liked the irony. Was working for the Government then, and they paid my massive fuel bills - very smart indeed.

I apologise to stevo62 for hijacking this thread. it was not intentional and was all scramblers fault

Sorry Craig, I'm not with you on that one. Scrambler said I'm just a country bumpkin in a mud hut...

I do have another mud hut on the Isle of Capri, which is apparently in the good state of Queensland..... up the road there are many black hummers..... and boats of similar gargarity......

Why did i not remember 'smart state' while looking at a pic of Peter Beattie? He's such a nice guy tho' and likes a decent beer.....

Thought you might be working in the power industry like, Ergon, Energex and there is Power Link that supplies the energy / power that Energex bills you for.

Rockys a craphole and getting worse, crime etc.. Townsville is getting better, but you have still picked two of the crappiest towns/cities in QLD, besides Brisbane of course, IMO.

I think it's where the jobs are, Crump (and thanks for dragging us back to the topic). If work was in Townsville, Rocky or Toowoomba where would you chose to live? I have to say I'd take Yeppoon, even with the Black Hummer brigade starting to move in. Nice weather, decent 4wding, water at your doorstep.
