This is the problem with todays society, less improvisation and more whinging. I blame the hippies and the femanists of the 60's and 70's for making Aus a country of whingers (it may be the influx of poms though).

You want a jetpack then get of your 4r53 and build it, Centrelink aint going to provide you with one. You have all the basic parts just lying around you house get out to the shed and build one

Get and old turbo, a full LPG tank, build a controller, throttle injectors and a combustion chamber.

Stop whinging and build it. However you may want to write your will before the test flight or initial start up .

    Long live the rocketeer.

    another use for it

I think I take offence at what you say. For one you seem to assume I'm on centrelink benefits and secondly you think I'm a whinger. You'd be wrong in both cases. It was a tounge in cheek statement re the jetpack. I think most people saw it for what it was. Also, the word is 'feminist' not 'femanist'

Umm, I think Dobbo's comments were almost the same - but his were tongue in cheek.

    Thanks for the defence Ron

    The cheques in the mail

They were not meant to offend William, just the hippies and the feminists. I know William would not be either of these,

a: what would a hippie want with a mode of transport that produces more green house gasses than a v12 yet can only transport one person. (the jetpack not the landie)

b: Why would a feminist want a mode of transport that looks more phallic than a banana in your trowser pocket? Besides when they cut the bra straps the jetpack would fall off, however this might not be such a bad idea afterall.
