We bought a washing machine last December. It's failed. We called for service. The serviceman says it's beyond repair and will organise for it to be replaced or a refund made.

Hi Ron et al,
In my own humble experience........ when dollars are paid for a dog there is an inverse relationship (linear maybe, probably other) between pup dollars paid and enjoyment of this relationship.
I'm 50, have had dogs around all my life, namely 3 dogs that all lived to 17 and they were as good as I could hope for. All cost nothing except upkeep, where no expense was spared. (If they were injured etc, they were looked after)
Be interesting to see what others have to say. They were all mutts.
cheers, DL
My son in Yass got the extended warranty on his reverse cycle aircon that he relies on for heating. It stopped heating about eight and a half weeks ago (actually I think that is when he found it had - it got cold!). He spent four weeks arguing with the retailer and the warranty company about whether they would pay someone to look at it. Eventually they did, and now waiting on parts to come from Japan. It gets cold in Yass at this time of the year!

I don't believe it!
Just before I went on holidays to the US in May, I bought a Dayco tensioner pulley (pulley only) for the Rangie as Dayco don't sell this particular one in Australia (the pulley was delivered to one of the other Admins of the RRNET forum as the suppliers don't ship overseas).
I went to fit it this morning. I took the old one off and, as one does, I compared it to the new one. It's different.:mad:
It should be a 7 groove pulley and it's a 6 groove unit. The box is labelled correctly. It looks like it's been swapped in the box.
Bugger! Bugger! Damn!
