diverted to Melbourne?:D:D
Just what I was thinking John,
It's not a bad fog, actually.
I couldn't see past the house on the other side of the next street up when I last looked.
(I'm sure that there are better ones, but for Sydney, it's not bad)
I knew youse blokes would be chortling!
Elisabeth was going to pick me up from the airport. She rang QANTAS to be told the flight had been cancelled - the flight number that we were using had been cancelled. Upon pressing further she was told we were diverting to Melbourne and would arrive in Sydney about 12.30pm.
At 9.30 am she rang again and was told were were on the ground in Melbourne.
At 9.35 am I called her to tell her we had landed - in Sydney.
So I told her not to bother coming in to Sydney to get me, I'd catch the train home. I got to Central to see my train departing - the next train being hour later......
Oh, I forgot to tell you that on the night before I left Broome, whilst I was in the shower, I heard a click in my room. I hopped out to find an aborigine rifling through my stuff. I told him to get out and pushed him out the door - I was still naked and standing in the doorway of my room for all the locals to see.
Fortunately, nothing appears to have been taken.
Ron
You obviously weren't carrying a concealed weapon then.:DQuote:

Ron, you just have to cash in on your bad luck to make it all worthwhile.
Something along the lines of Harry Potter would be good.
Glad you are home safe & sound.
Eerrrr, you are ain't you?:D
Glad to here you made it home after the saga we have been hearing.
John
Yes, I'm home and glad to be here!
I wonder if my P38A will start or if it has a flat battery?
