    If Ron knows what he buys isn't going to work, and therefore alters his plans around depending on it not working, will it then work?

    We got a new guide dog to care for yesterday.

    He's failed already. We had to take him to the vet this morning - he's got kennel cough so our yard is now quarantined for 10 days.

    We got home, dropped him off, and went for coffee.

    When we got back, there seemed to be a lot of water in the carport and a very wet dog. He's found the fishpond is an excellent swimming hole and the plants in there weren't needed, either.

    He was obviously demonstrating what would happen if a person needing a guide dog accidentally fell in the fishpond, crawled out and made their way back to the carport to recover.

    If you only got him yesterday he was infected before you got him.
