Stock Suspension
I know this has been asked before but i would like to see articulation pics of D2s with raised springs and long travel shocks with a brief discription of what suspension you have as this will help me finally choose my setup
Thanks in advance Ken

Here's some D2 flex, you need to disconnect the swaybars to get D2s to flex, aspecially the front swaybar
Oh and this one

Here are a few picks of my setup. I run OME springs front and rear with Koni Shocks. The tyres in these pics are 265/75/r16s BFG muddies.

That is some good flex! Your setup is similar to Simon Lun's right?
Angus
Yes Angus same, but Simon has GQ/GU Patrol rear shocks all round, (eye to eye) with a crosspin for the front bottom shock mount and reducer bushes made up to suit the Disco, i only have the rear shocks in the Patrol spec, Patrol shocks have a larger bush hole so you need to have reducers made to suit the smaller Rover shock bolt.
Simon has Bilsteins all round as well, with the rears re-valved.
The reason for Patrol spec shocks is their open and closed lengths, they suit the Disco with our lift

Didnt you have a 2 inch lift first? How does the disco handle now...any better or worse on road?
Is the added lift and expense worth it?
Angus
It's not too bad, but isn't as good onroad as when it had the 2" lift, it needs the radius arms and panhard rod done to bring it back, but the 2" lift is not a genuine 50mm, it's only 40mm.
Hasn't been that expensive, in fact it was less than it cost me to do the 2" lift.
The springs were $570 and shocks were $115ea delivered $1030
The 2" lift was a bit more, 4 Bilsteins long travels at $220 approx each and $400 for OME springs, that's $1280 and the OME spring sagged after 8 mths from 40mm to 20mm in the rear and 25mm in the front
