Grampians - Track suggestions.
Did have a beginners day planned in the grampians with a bloke who has a Jeep Grand Cherokee. *pauses for jeep mocking*...
But he's developed a yellow streak and pulled out. Now we have a disco 1 with a 2" suspenion lift and AT tyres looking for something thats a bit more challenging than what we had planned.
I've got some ideas but I'm looking for an suggestions from anybody of some tracks to do.
Any help appreciated.

Soft C0ck.... I assume you'll be offering to help him paint a yellow strip on his car? Right over the roof like the old mini's would look best i think :-)

Most 4WD tracks in the Grampians are locked
.
I found one which takes you to a dead end which is the parking spot for the walk to The Fortress (Southern Grampians). This track was off Victoria Range Road and is 4WD territory (goes for about 1km). In fact anything I drove on in the Northern and Souther Grampians a few months ago a soft roader could do without a problem.
You won't find much around the Grampians that you need a 4WD for IMHO but if you want bush walking and camping it is great for that.
