I was up there last year and absolutely loved it! Word of advise. Physically stop before every water crossing. I did a radiator on the main drag up there at one of the many crossings.

    We'll be up that way.
Leaving Brisvegas 6/7/07 for about 5 weeks ...
Look out for a dark blue Fender with a galv CT in tow.
Top spot, can't wait to get back. Almost started counting sleeps ..

PM if you want further info.

    Cheers

We're going up this Saturday and returning 21st July. Will keep a lookout. We're in a dark red discovery and purple trailer.

    I dunno...too many crocs
What Numpty's Missus said is true, walk them to determine depth and correct path.

Don't worry about crocs, I didn't see one up there and the water is too fast flowing / not murky enough for them to worry about 99% of the time. Keep your eye out, but don't worry about 'em too much.

We'll be there, in spirit only unfortunately.

Have a great trip. Haven't done it yet, planned it a few years back but a family tragedy had us going to a different part of QLD and west to the gulf instead. Had a great trip though, and we'll be back up that way soon enough, it isn't going anywhere!

The 130, two disco 1, one disco 2, a puslux and a troopy... all cruising up for a west coast fishing week. Not settled yet but prob go 18th August, tides should be reasonable. Hope these bloody winds drop a little by then. Last year we had 40 knot SE all week... Unless you find our camp will only see people on day one and day seven, driving up and back?

    Birding trip tp Cape York

We are leaving Brisbane on July 11 for the Cape and returning Aug 5. We will be in a Silver D3 SE TVD6 with bull bar, hydraulic winch, tyre carrier and G4 roof rack. My wife is an obsessive bird watcher so look out for a feral female with binos glued to her face.
