If I restore mine I get the girl in the photo?
I'm off. I have work to do in the garage. :D
My wife wouldn't pick the difference in the cars without close examination of the photos.

I looked at that image & couldn't help but wonder what that gloop is on the LH side.:D:D:DQuote:
Just show her this photo Ron and tell her "this could be us".
Ron,
This is one of the best threads I have seen in a long time. This is what happened at Chaos Manor about 12 months ago and somehow I survived.
SWMBO always knows where to find me now if I don't answer immediately.
I am sure you will survive and Elisabeth will tell stories about it later as Shirley does now.
Cheers,
Russ
:D It was the same when I used to fly model aircraft - I'd always be in the garage building them.
If the Landie was in the backyard, I'd be really in trouble. At least it's out of sight. You see, part of the problem is that I was recently offered my old Hillman Hunter Royal 660 (bought new in 1971) back from the bloke who bought off us. I wasn't allowed to get it for myself - so I collected it and took it to my son's place in Newcastle. ;)
Chaos Manor? Were you a reader of Jerry Pournelle in Byte magazine?
Ron
Yes, it was borrowed from Byte. Still quite appropriate in our house.
Cheers,
Russ
Yes, I am avid reader of Pournelle ....................... but I prefer Pourneaux.
Well done Ron, we're not worthy
:D
Aaaahhhhh, the old "Bury the head in the sand & maybe it will go away", syndrome. Sad really, Ron.:(:(Quote:
She declined saying "You don't really have it."
Ah well, what can you do?:D
