The flange that the ring gear mounts to on the centre is in a different spot. You can fit a 4.7 ring gear to a 3.54 centre with a spacer, but not vice versa.Quote:

Yes Ron, the early 10 spline 3.54 diff. centre will fit straight in to the Series Axle Housings :) but you need 2 -or -remove the front drive shaft until you have the second diff centre;)
