quiggers ,Gee things must be dry over on the plateau, even though i can see you between the showers, and the fog.
Glad I finished my new gutters last week.
In 24 hrs we have had 2" , over 50mm in the gauge. The tanks are overflowing, the fish pond is full ( saw some fish the other day, so the bird didn't eat all of them), the pool is near the 'dump some water level' and all the dogs are wet and running about, now for some heat to get some green in the paddocks.

Sorry everybody else, but we haven;t had a decent drop for over nine weeks, up here in paradise it should be always green.

The other side of the valley update, have had a bit more 35 mls since this morning, still p...ssing down, drizzle hard rain and drizzle.

GQ, after a week, of being shown various body parts, with the exclamation, 'found another bruise', she went back to work this afternoon,
took the stitches out of her head on saturday , the 'I don't know day it is ' vagueness, stopped on friday.
Went into town to see the car on thursday, it went on wednesday to the big nrma place at newcastle, that was a quick assessment. Didn't even get a photo.
Other than that seems ok, I still won't let her drive, so I opted out of the 2 week nrma car loan for now.

Took her to work earlier, i didn't realise how much rain you were getting up there, the stormwater channels in the park were over flowing, the same down at Ballina, the gold driving range is under water. and didn't have the camera with me.

The storm has passed here now.
Dumped 210 mls, blew down trees and generally made a mess.

    Batten down, Pedro!

No rain here, but the wind generator is earning its keep! And the wind is sucking out of the soil most of the 6mm we got the other day!

Sorry to hear that Jd , spoke to a mate in wagga today and he said the same dry and windy.
looks like it is fining up here, a few clouds and lots of wind.

too bad you couldn't have some of the stuff we got, just a little too much for the short time. the ground needed a good long soak not a quick one.

Which is great since I have the radiator out in the driveway

I planned to fix the radiator leak this morning and the swivel hub leak this afternoon.

So far all I have done is the radiator out and I can't find the leak for sure

    The rain is welcome otherwise.

I need a great big shed.

    Good falls now. http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDQ60900.shtml

That site is updated regularly and shows 9am to 9am
    conditions.

My front yard is one big sheet of water so I hope it soaks in a bit.

We have clay just under the turf, flamin' builders, so it takes a lot to soak deeply.
