Until I got my RR.
In the last couple of years I have changed, springs, shocks, radiator, pads, rotors, clutch, replaced and minor overhall on a gearbox, installed electronic ignition, done a recon job on twin stommies.
Oh and stripped a RRC down to chassis and shell for parts.
It's amazing what you can do when you actually try. Now I never think I can't do that I think, give it a go if I stuff it up I'll call a mechanic.
I've saved thousands on labour and it's amazing how few tools you actually need.
It's also amazing what you can do when the option is DIY or get rid because you can't justify the labour cost.
