any chance of grabbing a photo of "the point of no return" aka the bloody big pile of green cans entering Yirrkala. T'is a very impressive site.
Doesn't build up much these days and hasn't for several years. The one on the road to Drimmie Head is still often impressive though.
Everyone in town is confused and annoyed by whats been handed down. Give you an example, we had a BBQ down the beach planned for next Friday, couple of drinks or a bottle of wine between 6 of us is not on, its illegal. This does absolutely nothing to curb other drinking in town, the legislation is aimed at areas like around Alice, Darwin and Katherine. Many communities in Arnhem Land were already dry and there are big moves afoot to implement tighter controls on the sale of alcohol without what amounts to prohibition.
