My GF hates ALL Landys. She wont drive the Disco and hates Defenders even more. She thinks I should buy a Cruiser

u build a girly Landy off course, a little 88 2a or 3, paint it pink, put a fluffy steering wheel cover on it and a big mirror on the dash so she can do her hair and face while negotiating the gears and the traffic, go full pimp with some big alloy wheels and a good wireless and wack on some girly graphics, should do the trick

My missus loves the Fender. In fact I'd been threatening to buy a 4WD for a while and she refused to give me the go ahead - then when I finally dragged her out to have a look at the Fender, and I told the bloke we'd get back to him if we were interested, the first thing she said as we were driving home was "why didn't you make him an offer" - a couple of days later we were proud Fender owners

(She still doesn't seem very keen on driving it offroad though - we had an "incident" over on Morton Island in our old Suzuki a couple of years ago that I don't think she's recovered from ... )

My wife likes landies but not rangies. We used a mate's 1953 series 1 as a wedding car

She has driven both the IIA and the 110 on and off road. The 110 is easier because of the PAS, but she is just as attached to the IIA as I am.

    A bit off topic, but...

...the Bronco I had back in 1985 was the ultimate chick repeller... despised...

the X1/9 was (is) the complete opposite

My wife tolerates the Stage1 as it doesnt get stuck like her Subaru. I dont let her drive it not that she would ever want to.
Quite frankly I would fear her driving it (hiding behind something very big and large).
