Silver cars have been found to be 10 per cent more likely to be involved in an accident than white cars, according to the Vehicle Colour Study to be released today by the Monash University Accident Research Centre.
Black vehicles are even more dangerous - with a 12 per cent higher crash risk than white cars - therefore, the latest car fashions could have disastrous consequences.

I wonder what the most popular colour on the road is these days, anyone know?
Years ago it use to be red for a while.
Mate you can have your boring white, I am quite happy to cruise in my black urban assault vehicle, black is definately the most horn colour

P.S. Any colour is fine for a D3, its the D3 part that counts![]()

Ahhh Mr Pro FenderWait until you drive through some **really** heavily overgrown roads like I did in the Rudall River NP. There was a dark blue Nissan on the trip with us and IMHO it's paint is simply a write off
Whereas the white on our fender... a bit of a clean up and she's apples![]()
, well maybe you don't happen to know that the D3's come with special paint so
![]()

P.S. Ok I will admit that the black does tend to show up the scratches a little more, but hell I wear them with pride now, I am over the tears![]()
My Series III is bright yellow and I swear it is invisible to some drivers! I even had a Brisbane City bus pull out in front of me the other day, I just managed to pull it up in time. My inlaws used to have a bright yellow car as well, it was hit six times, every time it was stationary! Work that one out.

I had a commodore company car a few years ago that was "tungsten" a light metallic gold and I reckon it was even more invisible than than it' silver predecessor.
