I do both. ALS are great guys too.
LCD Inc & I are in negotiation to release their range of superior lubricant technology here. So we may have a wider application base shortly & your samples could be tested under our program. I Need a few test agents though who know there stuff & have comparatives samples to baseline from.
PM me for details on this new joint development. Also who do you use stateside? etc.
This is a little off thread & perhaps I should start another one for Oils etc. Anyway if there are readers who have regular oil samples analyised I would like to hear from you by PM for comparative testing & product sampling.
*Advertising caveat* - I am not canvassing for business I am asking for contact from people who have regular sampling done already. I will not charge for samples. This is a testing phase. I'll start a new thread for it though.
I also correspond with Testand & may be conducting the same sample test with Aussie available products. Hopefully with the same support shown to Ken by Arlins compatriots. I sometimes wonder late at night is my ITG that good.
I will say this though. K&N are great performance filters for flowing. Ie they are race bred & being used out of context on road vehicles for daily driving is detrimental as pulldowns are not performed at the end of every week. They just cant resist the marketing temptation I 'spose. After all they do have performance data, but maybe held back on the particulate tests.
I have seen no deviation from average on my oil tests on switching over from Coopers paper to ITG. The ITG is a 3 stage foam particulate gauze & is not as open weave as the K&N.
