I broke a tarsus bone a fair time ago when my bike landed on it.(A heavily laden Road trail) It was displaced and knitted by the time I returned to civilisation and an X ray department.

My GP, an excellent fellow, said If you want to fix it fine, but it won't impede your future activities so it's your choice. I only feel it every now and then, and I didn't really like playing squash anyway...

All in all, either fix it early or not at all (Unless it IS impeding normal activity) was the message I got that day.

Be sure that he hasn't got both hands on your shoulders.

Oops ... just got back from the urologist

Looks like I'll be glowing in the dark next year for a while. He's talking about injecting some iodine isotope grains with a 1/2 life of about 4 months. Do they have geigercounters at airport security

Not entirely surprised tho with a strong family history, I reckon it was more or less a lay down misere. She'll be right, herself is happy to do all the worrying while I do all the getting better.

Have a Happy Chrissie one and all.
