    Hi All,

I have a set of Tanami Roller Drawers for my Defender 90. My setup was a custom build. They seem to be very well built (made it twice across the Simpson and still going strong). They are quite light, with the drawer removed - I can easily lift the frame out by myself.

I dont have any pics at the moment as my vehicle is at work. I will get some ASAP.

They are here in Vic & Perth.

    How much cheaper than most?

I have metal sliding draws in the back of the 90. These also fit the back of the D1 and D2
Very very useful on the trip around Aus

If your a bit of a handy man and have a circular saw, mitre saw (with aluminium blade) and drill then you can knock up a set on your own.

Here is the ones I did for my D3. Drawers are using 100kg Haffele roller slides and its made of aluminium and plywood. The cargo barrier is a custom made Autosafe one.

    However, I'll measure them tomorrow.
The drawer cabinet is 900mm wide (plus extra for mounting tabs which could be removed for an overall width of 1070mm). Depth is 860mm. Height is 225 for the cabinet plus 20mm for the carpeted top.

One drawer is 460mm wide, the other 410mm wide. The are supported on multiple HD ball bearing races along each side.

I'm gunna make another one like I had in my Classic (see Ron's Range Rover Classic Modifications for more pics)

Yeah, I saw those in the UK mags...very nice. Not a chance in hell I'm going to try and get them shipped across though, unless already fitted to a 90 I import.

I also like the metal cubby box he does too.

Thanks Ron. You're right though, I don't think we'll try and ship them, even if they did fit perfectly!!

OH i perfer mine . Is has a leather top that matches the seats and it lockable and just as strong as his. Works great for putting stuff in and locking away. Ideal for a soft top
