i agree ..........

the battle should always be played on the field
then stay on the field afterwardsthe Aussie are well known for their slagging of others country's when they are winning

but it seems like they don't like the return comments when they are down

I dont follow cricket myself and was actually going to put up a post...don't need to now . But my goodness....soft or what? What a lot of hoo haa over some name calling, racist I am yet to see how. With the word 'cock" in my surname I know all about name calling, moreso in my school days. Big deal,

I agree Wayne .. but bare in mind, the hearing was due to a complaint made by the Australian team after Singh's comment to Roy. No complaint .. no hearing. Our boys should get on with it and leave that stuff on the field.

For some reason never quite got that one, probably being at an all boys school. My brother who is a pastor actually dropped the "cock" off his name, bit of a sore point...so to speak....years ago when he told the old man. As some one said sticks and stones, geez what next, my 4 yr old called me a poo poo head the other day, thinking it was hilarious.......what do I do, drag him off to Federal Court and make a case against him, ppuullllleeeeaaasseee,

I just don't get it.... The Australians are masters at sledging, which I detest, yet get uppity with a remark which should have been let go through to the keeper. I'm sorry that haven't been brought back to earth sooner.

I was glad to see the back of Warne. He was the worst moral role model anyone could hope for - yes a great spin bowler, but who would tell their son's to role model on his womanising - he disgusts me and I can't seeing his picture everywhere still. But I am more sad to see someone with decent values leave the field of play - Adam Gilchrist. May there be more follow Adam's footsteps.
